A concert of Original music written by Edgardo Cambon as a special guest, joining the Stanford Latin Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of pianist and teacher Murray Low. Edgardo and the students will perform come classics, as well as 5 original songs and arrangements written by Edgardo in the styles of Mambo, Cha-Cha-Cha, Candombe (from Uruguay), etc. Accompanying Edgardo will also be Uruguayan Candombe drummers Walter Gonzales, and Pedro "Uri" Macchiavello, to play the original Candombe composition "Cuando Me Falta El Tambor".
